Three Ancient Cities; Priene Miletus & Didyma

Meet your local guide at the Port and drive for three Ancient Cities. Brimming with ancient history and magnificent architecture, this tour visits Priene, best known for its 4th-century Athena Temple bankrolled by Alexander the Great. A 5,000-spectator theatre built in the 3rd century is next, along with a gymnasium and a stadium at Anatolia. Continuing to Didyma, you’ll see the majestic Temple of Apollo--considered to be one of the great monuments of antiquity, built in 560 BC. Journey back in time via the Sacred Way of Didyma en route to Miletus. This ancient road was once flanked by lions, sphinxes and statues of priests. Miletus itself is the last stop, with ruins of the theatre, thermal baths and the stadium.
Next, your guide will take you to a well-known local handicraft & weaving center to join a traditional carpet demonstration and free time to shop for handicrafts and souvenirs. Light refreshments will be served during your free time.
 At the end of the tour you will be return to your Ship in Kusadasi Port.
