You will be picked up by our Guide from Istanbul Cruise Port Passenger Terminal or Hotel and driven through to the Galata Bridge to the Old City. Visit, the Hippodrome, which was one of the largest chariot race grounds of the Byzantine Empire.  Then take a short walk to the Blue Mosque, completed in 1616, it is a triumph of harmony, proportion and elegance.  Onto the magnificient Topkapi Palace, the residence of the Sultans for almost three centuries, in addition to being the imperial residence of the Sultan, his court and harem, the palace was also the seat of government for the Ottoman Empire.  Lunch will be served at a well know local restaurant serving Turkish specialties. After lunch, next visit will be St Sophia, the church of the Divine Wisdom, it remained the greatest church in Christendom until the conquest of Constantinople in 1453. Next you will continue into the ninety-two streets of the famous Grand Bazaar, the bazaar is the largest and oldest covered bazaar in Turkey with more than 4,000 shops. Your guide escorts you to a store just outside the Grand Bazaar, your rendezvous point after experiencing the marketplace. Take in a carpet-weaving demonstration and explore the Grand Bazaar, where the shops are organized by the wares they sell.The narrow alleys are filled with shops offering jewelry, carpets, leather ware, copper goods and more.
